MOREHOUSE, Mo. — Jimmy Wayne Young, 74, died Oct. 15, 2018, at his home in Morehouse.
Born April 22, 1944, in Lauderdale, Tenn., son of the late James and Dolly Herron Young, he worked for Missouri Department of Transportation as a field mechanic for 24 years until his retirement in 1999.
On May 31, 1964, in Morehouse, he married Beverly Agee, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Tara Young of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Clint Schneider of Centerburg, Ohio; one brother, Darrell Young of Denton, Texas; five grandchildren, Aaron Young of Dexter, Josh Young of Morehouse, Cortney, Lindsey and Ryleigh Schneider of Centerburg; and one great-grandchild, Aubrey Young of Dexter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Borden.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Billy Davis, pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
