MALDEN, Mo. — Marion Edward Borders, 89, died Nov. 11, 2018, in Malden.
Born July 5, 1929, in Parma, son of the late Marion Roscoe Borders and Margaret Naomi Jackson Borders, he was a member of the Church of God Church and Masonic Lodge in Parma. He was also a veteran, serving in the United States Army.
On Oct. 21, 1954, in Parma, he married Virginia Mae Sapp, who survives of the home in Malden.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Vicky Armstrong of Dexter; two sons, Tim Borders and wife, Terri of Catron and Eddie Borders of Lilbourn; three sisters, Virginia Tutor of Bloomfield, Margie Hamliton of Glibert, Ariz., and Celesta Shelby of Paragould, Ark.; three brothers, Jim Borders of Brookland, Ark., Donald Borders of Merideth, Kan., and Lonnie Borders of Parma; and seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Edward Borders; one brother, Cleatis Borders; 1onesister, Jean White; and one granddaughter and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden with Kevin Hall officiating.
Burial was in the Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
