SIKESTON — Paulette Mather Boardman, age 56, passed away Dec. 10, 2018, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Born May 21, 1962, in Parkersburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Mary Meier Mather.
On Nov. 26, 1986, in Sikeston, she married Marc Boardman, who preceded her in death on June 10, 2008.
She was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.
She enjoyed volunteering at the YMCA in Sikeston and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include: her stepmother, Pat Mather of Sikeston; one brother, James Mather of Baton Rouge, La.; three sisters, Annette Willis of Farmington, Collette Watson of Rolla and Jeannette Mather of Bel Air, Md.; one stepbrother, Fred Copeland of New Madrid; two stepsisters, Lisa Saettele of Clayton and Leslie Hunter of New Madrid; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Stephen Mather.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston with the Rev. Mike Wondel and the Rev. Jennifer Moxley officiating.
Interment will follow in Garden of Memories at Sikeston.
