Pat Gammons
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Patricia "Pat" Gammons, 73, died Dec. 15, 2018, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born Aug. 12, 1945, in Arkansas, daughter of the late M.D. and Lou Bertha Catherine Pearl Heppe, she was retired from Brown Shoe Company and had also worked at the East Prairie Nursing Center. She was of the Baptist belief.
On Oct. 26, 1962, she married Frank “Sonny” Gammons who preceded her in death on June 17, 2005.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Bubby and Laura Gammons of East Prairie; three daughters and two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law, Angie and Steve Riggins of East Prairie, Melissa and Steve Fee of Zion, Ill., and Tonya and Tangie Gammons of Lacey’s Springs, Ala.; two brothers, Charles Heppe of Bertrand and Earl Heppe of Essex; one sister, Matilda Bell Smith of East Prairie; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey and Ray Heppe; two sisters, Wilma Clemmons and Ste. Genieve Sandheirich; four infant brothers and four infant sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Martin Lucas officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery at East Prairie.
