Dianne Surface
DELTA, Mo. — Dianne Lynne Surface, 72, died Dec. 17, 2018, at Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center in Bertrand.
Born Sept. 29, 1946, in Gideon, daughter of the late Lonnie and Wanda Lou Harford Hodges, she was a retired leasing agent. She was also a retired seamstress for Thorngate Ltd and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta.
On March 14, 1965, she married Jerry Ray Surface, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1999.
Survivors include: one son, Jerry Wayne (Debbie) Surface of Benton; a daughter, Lisa Deann Eftink and partner Bardis Dismuke III of Sikeston; a brother, Butch Hodges of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.
