Drive-by shooting in Miner under investigation; no injuries reported

MINER — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting late Thursday in Miner.
According to Miner Police Chief Chris Griggs, the shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. Thursday on on David Lane in Miner as the residence was shot at.
“There were small children and other adults in the home; no one was injured,” Griggs said.
Officers are looking into some leads and hope to obtain more information soon, Griggs said.
“We fully intend to aggressively pursue those responsible for this incident,” the police chief said. “This is an abnormal occurrence for us. To my knowledge, this is the first drive-by shooting that we have had.”
