Demolition is expected to be complete by the end of December to make way for a new building to house ambulance services for the northern portion of New Madrid County. The site, located at 18265 U.S. Highway 61, just south of Sikeston, will house the ambulance and crew serving residents of Canalou and Morehouse and those Sikeston residents residing in New Madrid County, according to Jon Burden, New Madrid County Ambulance Service director.
