Jaye Butler
SIKESTON — Jaye Butler, 59, died Dec. 25, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center Sikeston.
Born June 3, 1959, in Sikeston, to the late Kenneth and Helen Cantrell Butler, he was a member of Miner Baptist Church in Miner, Mo., and worked as the senior information services officer for First State Bank and Trust in Sikeston until he had to leave due to health issues on Dec. 15, 2017.
On Feb. 29, 1980, in Sikeston, he married Charlotte Smith Butler, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Derris and Krystin Butler of Nixa, Mo.; one sister, Jana Weiny of Blodgett, Mo.; two grandchildren, Charlie and Elliot Butler of Nixa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Butler.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Mitch Jackson, pastor of Miner Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, Mo.
Pallbearers will be: Nathan Mays, Elwood Kinder, Justin James, John Paul Ziegler, Nate Sparkman and Jim Pharris Jr..
Honorary pallbearers are: Rick Adams, Gordon Waller, Tommy Reynolds and Danny Freeman.
