Billy Rhodes Jr.

ADVANCE, Mo. — Billy Edward Rhodes Jr., 64, died Dec. 26, 2018, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. 

Born Aug. 4, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Bill and Jean Requerth Rhodes, he was a 1972 graduate of Advance High School. He then attended Murray State University and was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity. He owned and operated Rhodes Gas in Advance, Dexter and Bloomfield from 1979 to 2004. 

Survivors include: his wife, Monica Rhodes; daughter, Leeanna Rhodes of Jackson; son, Billy (Mollie) Rhodes III of Perryville; sister, Kathy Rhodes of Jackson; and two granddaughters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Rhodes Winchester.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with the Rev. Charles Woodard and the Rev. Dale Wiseman officiating. 

Burial will be held at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
