Paul Davidson
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Paul Gene Davidson, 73, died Dec. 27, 2018, at his home in East Prairie.
Born Nov. 30, 1945, in East Prairie, to the late Lubie and Manie Davis Davidson, he was a retired construction foreman.
On Nov. 25, 1987, in Benton, Ky., he married Dottie Gregory; she survives of the home.
Other survivors are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Jessica Davidson of Paducah, Ky. and Paul Gene and Mariana Davidson, Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy and Phil Pierce of Landrum, S.C. and Annette Niver of Mount Morris, Mich.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Cindy Davidson of East Prairie and Willie Joe “Sock” and Shirley Davidson of Orlando, Fla.; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Judy and Rhandy Lewis of East Prairie, Teresa and Scott Brawner of Wappapello and Lucille Scott of Michigan. Also surviving is granddaughter Madison Huckstep, who survives of the home; 12 additional grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Davidson; one daughter, Deanna Davidson; three brothers, George A. Davidson, Charles Davidson and Dale Davidson; one sister, Kathryn Davidson; and one brother-in-law, Paul Scott.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with graveside services to follow at 3 p.m. at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home. Mike Johnson will officiate.
