Estella Blissett

NEW MADRID, Mo. — Estella Beasley Blissett, 96, died Dec. 30, 2018, at New Madrid Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 1, 1922, in Midnight, Miss., daughter of the late Jake Knight and Fennie Johnson, she was a longtime member of St. James Word of Faith in Hayti and attended New Life in New Madrid and Friendship COGIC in Howardville.

Her husband, Johnnie Blissett, preceded her in death. 

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Jane Ella Robinson; and one brother, Leonard Robinson.

Survivors include: one nephew, Tommie Wells of New Madrid.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
