BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — Mary Lou Houart, 86, died Jan. 6, 2019, at the Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico.
Born June 28, 1932, near Puxico, daughter of the late Mona Olive and Lula Fry Crabb, she had lived in Puxico and Bloomfield most of her life. She had worked at the Purolator factory in Dexter.
Survivors include: three daughters and their husbands, Rena and Carl Hefner of Bloomfield, Sherry and Kris Bader of Brighton, Tenn., Kelly and Darren Baker of Puxico; three sons and wives, Marvin Bennett of Chaffee, Wesley and Carrie Bennett of Salina, Kan., Kerry and Stephanie Nash Bennett of Advance; one brother, Charles Larry Crabb of Park Hills; and 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Dean Houart; one daughter, Lee Ann Stanfill; one daughter-in-law, Kathlene Bennett; four sisters, Lillian Crabb, Edith Crabb, Viola Willis, Bertie Wright; one brother, Neal Crabb; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Darren Baker of Puxico officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico.
