SCOTT CITY, Mo. — George Lynn Duff, 89, died Feb. 4, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Oct. 9, 1929, in Blodgett, son of the late Porter and Mary Stafford Duff, he was a route salesman for Lewis Bread Co. and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
His wife, Darlene Ziegler Duff, survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Suzanne Duff of Scott City; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Bill Standridge of Sikeston, Linda and Andy Caskey of Columbia and Pam and Charlie Beis of Portageville; a stepdaughter and her husband, Tammy and Mark Stamp of Mountain View, Ark.; a brother, Tommy Duff of Sikeston; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Scott City.
