Donna Hoyer

SIKESTON — Donna Hoyer, 81, died April 18, 2019, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born June 6, 1937, in Kingsbury County, S.D., she was the daughter of the late Milton and Eleanora Johanson Petersen.

On Aug. 29, 1954, in Arlington, SD., she married Richard Hoyer, who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2012.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Donna Hoyer of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Bill Ballinger of Desloge; two brothers; one sister; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, two sons, one daughter, one grandson and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Allan Wollenberg, pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston, officiating.

Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley.
