Iris Billman
SIKESTON — Iris Billman, 87, passed away on April 22, 2019, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.
She was born April 23, 1931, in Tennessee, to the late Virgil and Birtie Duren Plunk.
On March 17, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married Roy L. Pratt, who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1977. On Sept. 25, 1980, in Lilbourn, she married Howard E. Billman, who preceded her in death on April 26, 1996.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Russell Rowe of Sikeston; one grandson, Mark and April Rowe of Naperville, Ill.; one brother, Kenny D. Plunk of Blodgett; four sisters, Opal Jean Crossno of Collinsville, Ill., Martha Kraft of Freeburg, Ill., Dora Jane Detterman of Naples and Peggy Holman of Sikeston.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Grady Plunk, Tommy Joe Plunk, Jack Plunk, Donald E. Plunk and Harry Glenn Plunk; and one sister, Betty Sue Plunk.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston at 2 p.m. with Jason Davis, pastor of Anchor Church in Sikeston, officiating.
Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Pratt, Trent Elliott, Dylan Elliott, Steve Plunk, David Wilhelm and Matt Richburg.
