Beverly Cheatham

SIKESTON — Beverly Anne Cheatham, 86, died April 22, 2019, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 14, 1932, in Jackson, Tenn., daughter of the late E. Grady and Ollie Darnel Butler, she was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston. She retired from Sikeston Public School System in 1992 after 20 years of service as a remedial reading teacher.

On March 18, 1956, in Jackson, she married Charles Cheatham, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include one son, Mark Cheatham of Sikeston; and one daughter, Mary Cheatham of Indianapolis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston with Keith Olbricht officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
