Linda Vanvickle

ANNISTON, Mo. — Linda Kay Vanvickle, 60, died May 6, 2019, at her home.  

Born Jan. 25, 1959, in Hayti, daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred Gaskins Vanvickle, she was a homemaker. She was of Baptist belief.

Survivors include: two sons, Brian Mashburn and Scotty Tidwell of Anniston; one daughter, Tamara Tidwell of Anniston; one stepson, Daniel Griggs of Anniston; three stepdaughters, Rachel Griggs of Atlanta, Ga., Rebecca Griggs of Jackson and Charlotte Griggs of Anniston; three brothers, Carl Vanvickle of Canalou,  Doyle Vanvickle of Essex and Richard Vanvickle of Caruthersville; and five sisters, Brenda Prince of Pascola, Wanda Abbott of Doniphan, Peggy Blevins of Campbell, Edith Walker of Pascola and Gladys Boyer of Homestown; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiance, David Griggs; one daughter, Goldie Brannon; one step grandson, David James Griggs; three brothers, William Floyd Vanvickle, Paul Ed Vanvickle and Roy Sherman; and two sisters, Glenda Vanvickle and Tammy Richardson.

Services were conducted Friday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Keith Cook officiating.

Burial followed in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
