Bands, choir perform in annual Spring Concert

On Tuesday night, May 14, the Portageville School District held the Annual Spring Band and Choir concert.

The concert featured the Seventh Grade, Eighth Grade, and High School Bands as well as the Girls High School Choir.

The Seventh Grade Band played four songs, Surprise Symphony, School Spirit, O Canada, and La Cucaracha.

The Eighth Grade Band played five songs, Trumpet Voluntary, Battlesong, Elephants, Drum and Drummer, and Join the Crowd.

The High School Choir performed six songs, Be My baby, Aint No Mountain High Enough, Man in the Mirror, You Say, This is Me, and Count on Me.

Finally, the High School Band played five songs, March of the Hyperion Guards, Abington Ridge, The Lion King, At the River, and parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.
