SIKESTON — Patricia L. Ross, 77, died at 12:34 p.m. on July 4, 2019.
Born Oct. 30, 1941, in Hamilton, Mich., daughter of the late Harley and Margaret L. (Deepenhorst) Kimber, Sr., she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked at the Unemployment Office in Sikeston before retiring. On May 1, 1959, in Saugatuck, Mich., she married Vester Eugene Ross, who preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2003.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Eugene and Angie Ross of Sikeston; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lu Ann Dumey, Margie & Eddie Moore all of Sikeston and Terri & Jack Hackney of Fort Worth, Texas; one son-in-law and his wife, Tim & Melissa Gribble of Blytheville, Ark.; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Harley Kimber, Jr. of Gray Ridge, Mo.i, Ervin and Maria Kimber, Sr. of Allegan, Mich., Herman and Wanda Kimber of Holland, Mich., and Charles “Chuck” and Pattie Kimber, Sr. of Fennville, Mich.; one sister, Evelyn Kimber of Allegan, Mich. and 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Gribble and one son-in-law, Jimmy Dumey.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Harley Kimber, Sr., Ervin Kimber, Herman Kimber, Charles Kimber, Charlie Kimber, Robert Kimber, Ervin Kimber, Jr., and Billy Ross.
