Lorena Ledbetter

SIKESTON — Lorena Ledbetter, 77, formerly of East Prairie, died June 29, 2019, at Cottonpoint Living Center in Matthews.

Born Sept. 26, 1941, in Lilbourn, daughter of the late Ed and Beaulah Busby Warren, she was a homemaker and member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On Aug. 15, 1963, in Mississippi County, she married Glenn Ledbetter; he preceded her in death on June 17, 2009.

Survivors include three sons, Glenn Ledbetter and William Ledbetter of Miner and Daniel Ledbetter of East Prairie; two daughters, Tammy Barborek of Sikeston and Shirley Eggemeyer of Matthews; one sister, Mary Hodges of South Carolina; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Warren; and two sisters, Loretta Warren, and Cindy Warren.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. July 5 at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with David Carnell officiating.

Burial followed in Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Chris Warren, Donnie Matheney, George Ledbetter, Charles Kirby, and Johnny Stevenson.
