Bill Hager

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Bill C. Hager, 82, died July 21, 2019, at his home in East Prairie. 

Born Jan. 18, 1937, in St. Louis, to the late Charley O. and Lucille Irby Hager, he was the owner/operator of Bill’s Barber Shop in East Prairie for over 20 years and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: three sisters, Imogene Hanor of East Prairie, Mary Sue Scoggins of St. Charles, Mo., and Linda Faye Howren of Palm Harbor, Fla. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Ann Mattox.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Dogwood Cemetery.

Shelby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
