Michael McMillan

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Michael Eugene McMillan, 67, died July 30, 2019, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 17, 1951, in Oran, son of the late Oliver Scott and Helen Ruth Atkins McMillan Sr., he was a forklift operator for DHL and a member of Life Church in Sikeston. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

On April 16, 1976, he married Janet Lee White, and she preceded him in death on May 11, 2019.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver Scott Jr. and Marion Davis.

Survivors include: three brothers, Denver (Pauline) McMillan of Dexter, Bill (Jane) McMillan of Scott City and Charlie (Sharon) McMillan of Sikeston; five sisters, Christina (late Emory) Wondel of Warrenton, Ann (Harley) Boze of Scott City, Pat (Jerry) Terry of Republic, Gerry Lasater of Columbia and Mary (Bob) Yount of Fredericktown; a sister-in-law, Karen Stallings of Sikeston; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Darren DeLoach officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
