Church feature: First Christian Church has shared good news of Christ in Sikeston for 113 years

SIKESTON — Located at 1006 N. Main St. in Sikeston, the First Christian Church of Sikeston is located just east of Missouri Delta Medical Center.

The senior pastor at First Christian is David A. Nash. He is said to “bring excellent sermons, a big heart, a good sense of humor and the wisdom of experience.”

Worship hour at First Christian begins at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday and traditional style and contemporary flavor is combined in each service.

There is a staffed church nursery and children’s church available on Sunday mornings and during the school year they hold a Wednesday evening program for children and young adults.

The First Christian Church of Sikeston was officially chartered in August of 1906 and has “celebrated and shared the good news of Christ in this city for 113 years.”
