It is a Christ centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurts, habits or hang-ups of any kind. CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The Messiah Choir will begin rehearsals Sept. 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 N. Frederick St., in Cape Girardeau, Mo. There will be refreshments following the first rehearsal and a choir appreciation dinner in December. No experience is necessary and there are no auditions. The group will be singing choruses from all three parts of the “Messiah.” Rehearsals are the second and fourth Monday of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. Singers of all ages are welcome and the concerts will be Jan. 12 and 19, 2020.
