Norma Hoskins

MOREHOUSE, Mo. — Norma Hoskins, 79, died Aug. 29, 2019, at her home in Morehouse.

Born Jan. 28, 1940, in Parma, daughter of the late William "Bill" and Pearl (Dowdy) Ellis, she was a member of Morehouse Pentecostal Church and had worked in the laundry and housekeeping departments of Missouri Delta Medical Center for 25 years before retiring.

Her husband, Loyeal Hoskins, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill Wesley Hoskins, Roy Lee Hoskins and Darrell and Kimberly Hoskins of Morehouse; four daughters and sons-in-law, Norma Jean and Ronnie Knuckles of Sikeston, Sheila Faye Rogers of Morehouse, Cheryl and Joey Jones of Sikeston and Daniele and Jim Sims of Virginia Beach, Va.; 25 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry Wayne Hoskins; and one daughter, Kathy Sue Graham.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Amos Johnson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
