Jimmie Loflin

BERTRAND, Mo. — Jimmie Dale Loflin, 63, died Sept. 3, 2019, at his home.

Born May 10, 1956, in Mississippi County, to the late Jefferson Clarence and Ida Bell Hammontree Loflin, he had been employed as a mechanic.

Survivors include:  two sons, Jimmy Dale Loflin Jr. of Bertrand and Shannon Oldham of Dexter; two daughters, Lisa Baker of Bertrand and Stacey Craig of Sikeston; three brothers, James Loflin, Kenny Loflin and Tommy Loflin of East Prairie; and two sisters, Mabel Holmes of Barlow, Ky., and Brenda Nichols of Belleville, Ill.; and 14 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffie Loflin; and one sister, Barbara Shands.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
