Janet Totty

ROCKVIEW, Mo. — Janet Sue Sadler Totty, 76, died Sept. 5, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 28, 1943, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Ira Andrew and Edna Louise Saddler Sadler, she attended school in Rockview and she had held a host of different jobs, including Florsheim Shoe and Chaffee Nursing Center.

On Feb. 6, 1960, she married Jerry K. Totty, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny, Donald and Jackie; and three sisters, Betty, Stella and Wilma.

Survivors include: two sons, Brian (Debra) Totty of Rockview and Mark (Tracey) Totty, of Albany, Ill.; one daughter, Tammy (David) Shackles of Rockview; one sister, Anna-Mae Nanney of Chaffee; and one brother, Ira Lee “Pete” Sadler of Chaffee; and 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee where visitation will continue at noon Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
