Gail McMillen

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Wanda “Gail” McMillen, 78, died Sept. 11, 2019, at Portageville Health Care.

Born Aug. 29, 1941, in Saltillo, Tenn., daughter of the late Clara Creasy Alexander and Howard Alexander, she retired in 2014 after 44 years at Portageville School District. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelli and Dewayne Nowlin and Felicia “Picca” and Rodi Walker of Portageville; one son and daughter-in-law, Seth Andrew and Jennifer McMillen of Portageville; her son-in-law, Thomas Morgan of Portageville; and 17 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter; Lorri Morgan, on Dec. 22, 2018; one son: Loyd Edward “Sonny” McMillen Jr. in November 2014; six sisters, Mary, Willie, Betty, Evelyn, Shirley and Margaret; and eight brothers: Cleo, Ernest, James, Harold, Bob, Tom, Buck and Paul.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
