NEW MADRID, Mo. — Karen Elizabeth Bunch passed away on Sept. 12, 2019, at her home in New Madrid at the age of 54 years.
She was born Jan. 12, 1965, in St. Louis, and on Jan. 27, 1965, she was adopted by Gallivan and Martha Henry Hunter.
She attended Immaculate Conception Grade School and graduated from New Madrid County Central in 1983.
Survivors include: her mother, Martha Henry Hunter of New Madrid; two daughters, Ashley Hunter of Sikeston and Elizabeth Huffman of New Madrid; one son, Allen Bunch of Sikeston; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Ellen Hunter of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; two nieces; and a special friend, Bruce Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gallivan Hunter; maternal grandparents, Whitson and Mildred Henry; and paternal grandparents, Tom Furg and May Hunter.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services will be at 1 p.m. Monday with G.L. Keene officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
