Matthew Chisholm

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Matthew Wilson Chisholm, 44, formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Sept. 16, 2019 at his home.

Born July 14, 1975, in Darlington, S.C., son of the late James Carol Chisholm and Ernie Lee Starling of Society Hill, S.C., he worked in construction and had served in the United States Marine Corps.

On Dec. 31, 1994, he married Dianna Morris Chisholm who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, survivors include: two sons, Brandon James Chisholm of Madisonville, Ky., and Patrick Ryan Chisholm of East Prairie; one daughter, JoEllen Allred of East Prairie; two brothers, Andrew Chisholm and Cameron Starling of South Carolina; and three grandchildren.

One grandson, Nicholas Chisholm, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until service time at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Burial will follow Saturday in Brown Springs Cemetery at Patrick, S.C.
