Verlin Copeland

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Verlin F. “Coconut” Copeland, 90, died Sept. 22, 2019, in Hayti, Mo.

Born Nov. 4, 1928, in Arkansas, son of the late Charles F. and Cora Mae Northcutt Copeland, he worked for EBG and ADI and was a member of the Boekerton Baptist Church.

On May 17, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., he married Margaret Hunt Copeland, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one brother and sister in-law, Charles and Doris Hunt of Doniphan, Mo.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home with Mike Loften officiating.

Burial will follow at Portageville Cemetery.
