Farm Bureau talks with Lilbourn third graders

Jami Geske of New Madrid County Farm Bureau presented to the third graders at Lilbourn Elementary about misconceptions about agriculture.  The students learned about the basic tools used by farmers and ranchers, as well as unusual types of farmers.  They also learned a little about cows, bulls, and chickens, and celebrated Chocolate Milk Day with a complimentary bottle of milk.  Farm Bureau will be making quarterly classroom activity visits this year at Lilbourn Elementary.
