Letter: Fall fundraiser planned
It is that time of year for bonfires, sweatshirts, falling leaves, símores and chili. Mark your calendars for Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. The Christian Academy will be hosting a fall community dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. We will be serving chili, hot dogs and a dessert.
Tickets for TCA families and the donation drawing tickets were sent out the week of Oct. 7. Ticket sales will be open to the public for purchase at the elementary office. Please help get the word out to the community! Ticket prices are as follows for dine in and carry out:
$6 - adult
$4 - child (10 and younger)
$100 - sponsor (includes 4 tickets, and name of recognition on the sponsorship board.
Who doesnít need groceries and gas? We will be doing a donation drawing for the dinner again this year. The winners will be drawn and announced at 7 p.m., and you do not have to be present to win. Please try to help TCA meet our donation goal of $100 per family. We will be selling donation drawing tickets for the following:
1st Prize - $250 grocery certificate at store of choice
2nd Prize - $100 gas gift card
3rd Prize - $50 gift card to restaurant of choice
The Pre-K through eighth grade will be singing in honor of our veterans, and would also like to present them with a gift made by the TCA students. In order to plan accordingly, please fill out the names of friends or family members you know that are veterans who will be in attendance.
