YMCA of Southeast Missouri receives $5,000 grant from Food Giant

SIKESTON — On Oct. 2 Food Giant presented the YMCA of Southeast Missouri with a check for $5,000 in support of the Y’s Annual Partners Campaign.

The funds from this gift will provide support for the Y’s Partners Campaign, specifically assisting in making sure Y services are available to those who need them the most. In 2018 the Y provided nearly $190,000 in reduced membership and program fees to youth and families allowing them the opportunity to experience all the Y has to offer.

Food Giant has a long history of supporting the Y and this community. In fact, Food Giant has been a major supporter of the YMCA of Southeast Missouri for more than 20 years donating over $200,000 during that span.

“Food Giant has been a true partner in helping the Y impact our community,” said YMCA CEO Jeff Partridge. “We are extremely appreciative of their ongoing support. Their commitment to the Y and our community has helped us impact countless lives.”
