SIKESTON — From their humble beginnings in a single-wide trailer in January of 2001 to their spacious building at 1150 S. Main, beside Lowes, Focus Bank has become a big part of the Sikeston community.

“We are known for delivering exceptional financial services and being committed to leading the way in the latest banking technology and customer-centered products while always remembering our roots as a community bank,” said Britt McConnell, community bank president.

Focus Bank originated in 1934 in Charleston, Mo., and expanded in the Sikeston area to grow their business and offer customers the convenience of additional banking locations while helping local businesses grow and expand.

Those relationships with businesses have become the backbone of Focus Bank.

McConnell says what he appreciates most about the business is “relationship building with the many retail and business customers in the Sikeston region.”

McConnell is quick to add that Focus Bank is about more than banking and appreciates its role in the community.

“We are here to serve the community as a whole, not only with our products and services but with our commitment of time and resources to the community and the various civic projects and charitable organizations,” he said.
