Dorothy Margrabe

CHAFFEE, Mo. — Dorothy Janice Margrabe, 89, died Oct, 24, 2019, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

Born Aug. 2, 1930, in Kansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee, homemaker, and former Certified Nursing Assistant.

Oct. 15, 1948, she married Robert H. Margrabe, who preceded her in death on August 1984.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Smith. 

Survivors include: one son, Fred Margrabe (Cecilia) of Jackson; one daughter, Barbara Sadler (Danny) of Chaffee; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Josh Boley officiating.
