Eddie Moore

SIKESTON — Eddie Ray Moore, 57, died Oct. 21, 2019, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born July 21, 1962 in Waco, Texas, son of the late Jimmie Lee Moore Sr. and Pamelia Eckles, he was a graduate of Sikeston High School in Sikeston and later became a chef. He was employed at several restaurants for over 20 years.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Aaron Chapman; and three brothers, James Oliver, Willie Moore and Jimmie Moore Jr.

Survivors include: three sons, Eddie Taylor, Rickey Taylor and Joshua Cole of Sikeston; three daughters, Monica Taylor and Ibreanna Moore of Sikeston and Emilee Taylor of Jonesboro, Ark.; two brothers, Elder Rickey Moore of Sikeston and Devin Davis of Waco, Texas; one sister, Carrie Moore of Sikeston; four stepdaughters, MaeAnn Roger and Shapale Clark of Cape Girardeau, Stephanie Aldridge of Sikeston and Jennifer Aldridge of Blytheville, Ark.; and 19 grandchildren.

Visitation is from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston.
