PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Johnnie L. Via, 61, died Nov. 15, 2019, at her home in Portageville.

Born Sept. 9, 1958, in Hayti, daughter of the late Hazel Ethridge and John Via, she was of the Baptist belief and retired from teaching after 28 years at North Pemiscot School.

Survivors include: one sister, Ruth Via of Portageville; and cousins, Betty Qualls of Rutherford, Tenn., and Raymond Bruton of Point Pleasant. 

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home with Dr. Buck Morton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
