Randy South
FISK, Mo. — Randy South, 72, died Dec. 11, 2019, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 2, 1947, son of the late William H. and Juanita Stuckey South, he had served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW at Wappapello and American Legion Post 153 at Poplar Bluff. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. He worked on guns at Triggers Gun Shop.
On Aug. 15, 1997, he married Janette Sims, who survives.
Also surviving are: one daughter, Liz Clark of Fisk; one son, Jason South (Beverly) of Fisk; four sisters: Linda Chitwood of Ellington, Janet Sue South of Jacksonville, Fla., Mary Meisel of Jefferson City and Judy Aslin of Jackson; two brothers, James South of Dexter and Tom “Dink” South of Fisk; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at White Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk, where services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
