COLUMBIA, Mo. — John Turner, 29, formerly of Sikeston, died Dec. 30, 2019, in Fayette.

Born July 22, 1990, in Sikeston, son of Rose Faulkner of Sikeston and John Turner of Haywood City, he attended Sikeston High School in Sikeston and was employed at Tyson Food in Dexter before relocating to Columbia.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: one son, John Turner of Perryville; two daughters, Alexis Turner of Perryville, Serenity Robinson of Columbia; one daughter to be born in February, Ja'Laya Kamoni Turner; grandparents, Lewis and Shirley Jones of Sikeston and John Henry and Shirley Turner of Haywood City; four brothers, Darell Turner of Memphis, Tennessee, Cornelius Turner of Cape Girardeau, Justin Robinson and Christopher (Camisha) Bryant of Sikeston; seven sisters, Iiesha Randle of Columbia, Kerasjia Williamson, Jalishia Williamson, Aleshia Williamson, Deonna Jones and Tashira King of Sikeston and Ryan Symon Turner of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with Clayton Willis of Divine Second Chance Ministries officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery at Haywood City with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
