WYATT, Mo. —John Patterson Brown, 48, died Jan. 8, 2020, at his home in Wyatt.
Born Oct. 23, 1971, at Charleston, son of the late C.D. Brown and Carman Louise Snider Brown, he had lived in Charleston most of his life, moving to Wyatt 18 years ago. He had been employed as a commercial truck driver and was of the Pentecostal belief.
On July 4, 1994, he married Mary Ann Linhart, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: his children, Isaac Portwood and Stormy Smith of Sikeston; Coty Smith of Jackson, Tommy Cross of Kennett and Amber Evans of Anniston; one brother, Timothy Allen Snider of Newport, Ark.; his sisters, Candace Lee Drum of Perryville and Connie Marie Velazquez of Sikeston; and many grandchildren.
Private family services will be held with burial to follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery at Scopus.
McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
