Martha Daugherty

MALDEN, Mo. — Martha Dean Daugherty, 92, died Jan. 12, 2020, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 7, 1929, in Lou Ann, Ark., daughter of the late Mary  Rowen and Charles Rowen,she worked for years for the New Madrid Tourism through the state of Missouri.

Her husband, Bill Daughtery, preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 1965,

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Sam Rowen.

Survivors include: two sons, Drew Daughtery of Malden and W.P. Daughtery Jr. of Gideon; one daughter, Martha Kay Fields of Collierville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
