CHAFFEE, Mo. — Alma Bernice Cotten, 86, formerly of Sikeston, died Jan.24, 2020, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

Born Aug. 8, 1933, in Kewanee, she was the daughter of the late Edith I. Page.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Roy J. Hurt; one brother, Robert Reed; and one sister, Louise Dodge.

Survivors include: three sons, Floyd (Kimberly) Hurt, Anthony Hurt, and Doyle (Tresa) Hurt of Sikeston; one brother, Norman Reed of Chicago, Ill.; and six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Tarter officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Poplar Bluff.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
