Karen Scott
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Karen Scott, 60, died Jan. 26, 2020, at her home in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 14, 1959, daughter of James Doyle Edwards of Sikeston and Joyce A. Ross Moyers of Cape Girardeau, she was of the Baptist belief.
Her husband, Ruben E. Scott, preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2012.
In addition to her parents, survivors include: her stepfather, Herusel Moyers of Cape Girardeau; one son, Bradley (Amy) Wren of Essex; one daughter, Leann (Jason) Erwin of Louisville, Ky.; one brother, Doyle Edwards of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Janie Owens of Jackson, Loriann Wimberly of Blodgett and Sherry Nash of Herculaneum; and six grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Mable Edwards.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
There will be a private burial at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
