BERNIE, Mo. — One of the 10 most wanted fugitives in Texas was arrested in Bernie Thursday.

According to a release from Bernie Police Chief, Justin K. Allen, Christopher Robinson was arrested at his residence at 307 Howell St. in Bernie on a Texas DPS warrant for a parole violation.

Robinson has an extensive criminal history and his original offense was assault by choking/strangulation. He was also listed on the Texas top 10 most wanted fugitives at the time of the arrest and has convictions for weapons, drugs and assault offenses as well as evading arrest or detention. According to the release, Robinson is also a member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas.

Robinson has served time in Texas on multiple occasions and was last released on parole in August 2018. He has also served time in federal prison and on Sept. 11, 2018, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for the parole violation.

Robinson will be held at the Bernie Police Department with no bond until he is transported back to Texas by Texas DPS.
