MORLEY, Mo. — Doyle Wayne Canady, son of Pauline Semancik of Delta, Missouri, and the late Velmer “RED” Canady was born on June 7, 1957, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed this life on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 62 years.

Mr. Canady was a former Boiler Maker for Local Union 27 in St. Louis, Missouri, member of the Morley Baptist Church, and a resident of Morley, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Cindy Lyn Dunker on Oct. 1, 1977, in Rockview, Missouri. Mrs. Canady survives of the home in Morley.

Besides his wife, Cindy and mother, Pauline Semancik, other survivors include two sons, Anthony Travis of Saint Marys, Georgia and Eric Canady (Chasity) of Morley; one daughter, Amy Brzycki (Bryan) of St. Louis, Missouri; three brothers, David Canady of Cherokee Ridge, Arkansas, Tommy Canady and Jerry Canady both of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mary Jo Summers of Scott City, Missouri and Diane Amelunke of Delta; also six grandchildren, Mallory, Hailey, Madeline, Lydia, Katelyn and Tyler.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.

Interment will follow at the New Morley Cemetery.
