Wade Robert

KELSO, Mo. — Wade Charles Robert, 84, of Kelso, Missouri, died Feb. 9, 2020, at his home.

He was born Dec. 8, 1935, in Kelso, Missouri, to Eugene P. and Irene Clara Schlosser Robert. He married Judith Marie Brockmire on April 26, 1984, in Kelso. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2002.

Wade was a farmer. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and American Legion in Sikeston, Missouri. He served eight years in Army National Guard.

He is survived by two stepsons, Gary (Donna) McClard Jr. of Jackson, Missouri, and Chuck (Tracy) McClard of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Teri (Rex) Carter of Kentucky; a sister, Mrs. Arthur “Dottie” Bruce of Oran; a niece, Laurie (Tom) Romas of Oran, Missouri; and four great-nephews, Michael, Cody, Christopher and Nicholas Romas.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri, with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
