Marie Kohne

CHARLESTON, Mo. — Marie Lucy Kohne, 89, died Feb. 10, 2020, at the Charleston Manor.

Born Aug. 23, 1930, at Piggott, Ark., daughter of the late Clifford and Alta Mae Lambert Counts, she had lived many years in Charleston and had worked as a cook.

Her husband, Roy Kohne, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three daughters, Carolyn Y. Rider of Charleston, Sharon White (Ron) Bailey of Pershing, Fla., and Debbie Martinez of St. Louis; three brothers, Henry Counts and Kenneth Counts of East Prairie and Cletus Counts of Sikeston; and four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Lloyd Rider; two brothers, Bill Counts and Carl Counts; and two sisters, Christine Cogdill and Trudy High.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in St. Louis.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
