Linda Hampton

SIKESTON — Linda Jean Hampton, 67, died April 15, 2020, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Sept. 12, 1952, at Spring Valley, Ill., daughter of the late Hubert Lucas and Mary Metcalf Lucas, she had lived in Sikeston a number of years.

In 1968, she married Charles John Hampton, who preceded her in death in 2008.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mary Louise Hampton and Kimberli (Tim) Wiley of Sikeston and Jamie Lynn (Jim) McWhirter of Kevil, Ky.; two brothers, Kenny Lucas of Wisconsin and Brett Fording of Indiana; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Lucas and Hubert Lucas Jr.

Private services will be held with burial in the Blodgett Cemetery.

McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
