The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Scott County has increased by four to 49 according to the Scott County Health Department Saturday afternoon.
All four of the new cases were African-American while three of the cases were female. One positive case was between the ages of 20-29, one between the ages of 30-39, one between the ages of 50-59 and one between the ages of 60-69.
Of the 49 total cases in Scott County, nine have recovered. There has been one death in Scott County. Most of the cases (35) have been women while 26 of the positive tests have been African-American and 23 caucasian.
The cases per age group are:
0-19: 1
20-29: 6
30-39: 6
40-49: 7
50-59: 3
60-69: 7
70-79: 5
80-89: 14
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, there are 5,517 positive COVID-19 cases in Missouri with 175 related to the coronavirus.
